Ms. Mescher

Lynda Mescher grew up with horses and has loved them all of her life. She is certified in Western Trail Instruction through the Certified Horsemanship Association and is a member of the American Quarter Horse Accociation. She also shares an equal love for children, having worked with them all of her adult life. She owned and operated her own daycare center for several years to support her family while raising two children of her own. She has twelve years of experience as a Girl Scout troop leader and has been working for the public school system since 1997. She started teaching horseback lessons in 1999 and added family, couple and children trail rides to the river in 2003.
Ms. Mescher dedicates Silver's Trails to her wolf/husky mix named Silver.
Jeanne Mescher

Daughter of Ms. Mescher, Jeanne also grew up around horses, taking riding lessons at age seven and helping run the ranch with her mother at age eleven. She started working as a seasonal lesson instructor and camp counselor at fourteen for Silver's Trails Summer Camp. She's currently a student at the University of Texas, has created and maintians the Silver's Trails website, and directs the summer, winter, and spring break camps. She's also involved in many other events such as birthday parties, trail rides, and overnight camp outs at the river.
