Special Occasions

Have a birthday coming up? A big date? Or just want to plan a weekend away? Silver's Trails can help make any occassion memorable. You can schedule for us to trailer our horses to your location or bring your party out here. Our facilities are complete with many picnic tables and a pavillion. You can even schedule an overnight camp out event or stay in a cozy log cabin.

Birthday Parties

Cater to your liking as Silver's Trails is flexible to create exactly what you want for your birthday! You may invite as many guests as you like for the the same low price. Two horses and two hours of facility use are included in the standard birthday package. Typically, the first hour is reserved for riding and the final hour for gifts, cake and icecream. The birthday guest has the opportunity to ride the entire hour while each guest rotates with him/her. The rider will be briefly yet safely evaluated before placing them on a horse and given the choice as to when they ride in the arena and on the trails. Each guest is given the opportunity to ride on the trail after a brief introduction to riding in the arena under the instruction and supervision of Ms. Mescher. The other guests enjoy watching, however, we also have horseshoes available for painting as party favor to take home. Adults and children are all welcomed to ride and enjoy the party. Barbecue pit, six concrete picnic tables, covered pavillion, electricity and water are available for your use. There is no additional charge for extended facility use by special request. Silver's Trails will help you to create the party of your dreams by accommodating you with use of recreational room, addtional horses or party preparation. If you have a special place picked out for your party that allows horseback riding, we can also trailer two horses to your location. Call to reserve your special day in advance.

Weddings/Receptions

Silver's Trails is as country as you can get with room to entertain for receptions or even ride down the aisle to say "I do" through the arena or by way of the bridge. The pavillion provides the opportunity to go as big as a band or as soft as your guitar string-pickn' cowboy cares to sing. All the facilities available for a birthday party are also available for a wedding. Do it up BBQ style or have it catered. Use your imagination and cross over to the wedding of a cowgirl's dream. Horses are also a great accessory to culture weddings. Have our horses make a special appearance for your native american, indian, or oriental ceremony. Again, if you have a personal location picked out for your big day, we can trailer over a horse or two for your use.

Campouts
For Group Campouts, Grab 'em when you can; they don't happen often. If the weather's right, pitch a tent and tie your horse to a tree after a two hour ride to the river (4 hours round trip). Whether it's a private romantic evening by the camp fire, or a young rider's first camp out under the stars, Silver's trails can provide the ultimate horseback camp out to suit your pleasure. Sleeping bags, tents and gear are fully provided. Children's Group Campouts include meals, drinks and 'smores. Private Campouts for adults or children have the luxury to choose to ride to a local restaurant like the Old West or bring a picnic to enhance your trail riding experience. During spring and summer, you can also ride the horses in the river on the campouts.
